Alliestrasza's Parallel League Open

This past weekend, the Parallel Open hosted by Alliestrasza saw top players battle for supremacy. NORE_Paragons dominated, sweeping Seneca 3-0 in the final to claim $4,000 USD and 5 league points. BrightAvian impressed with a 7-0 Day 1 streak, securing the first seed and a Top 4 finish. Quinto.Paragons.DevGG also made waves with a 6-1 run using off-meta decks like ADHQ and Aetio, earning a Top 8 finish. The Parallel Open was a thrilling display of skill in this sci-fi TCG!

Parallel Invitational Tournament Promo Card

To celebrate the competitive Parallel scene we have created and will be minting an exclusive Prime Promotional Variant Card for those who participated in the Planetfall Invitational.

The card is Wong, Purveyor of Curiosities but his cloak is a different color and instead of a Pocket Dimension he has a LAR rifle in front of him.

There are 15 editions of this card variant in total, one given to each of the players who participated. And congratulations to the winner - @samuelsequinox !

Parallel's ranked matchmaking MMR system has received an update. Here's a recap:

Primary Avenue for Points: Ladder, Qualifier, Majors, In-Game-Tournaments [IGT] and Minors

1 point per IGT win, 3 wins max per month, weekly rolling queues
Minors are officially licensed events that take place every month

Ladder & qualifier tournaments

Top 64 ladder season finishers are invited to a Majors Qualifier
Overall winner of a Qualifier secures a seat at the next available Major
64 player swiss into Top 16 single elimination

Major tournaments

124 player event with players who have won a Qualifier and top points earners
Majors are played in a swiss format till top 8 which then are placed into an 8 player single elimination bracket
Premium high quality 2 day broadcast showcasing the best players in Parallel
