Yes. Deck lists are required to be submitted for all League Qualifier and Major events. Once you’ve been logged into the Echelon tournament app, your decks from Parallel should automatically connect to the tournament app. From there, you can select which decks you will be using in your respective tournament.
It is courteous to inform an admin if you will not be participating in a particular event. If we do not receive your deck lists for an event, it will be assumed you are not participating.
A League Qualifier is a 64 player invitational from the top 64 players in a ranked ladder season.
Day 1 – Bring 3 decks from 3 different Parallels. Deck lists will be closed to all players, but you will be able to see your opponents Parallel and Paragon choices. You will play in a swiss format for 6 rounds. This means there is no elimination during swiss. You can participate in all 6 rounds. You will play in a best of 3 with one deck ban. You will need to win with 2 of your non banned decks to win that respective swiss round. (To be considered an active participant and earn League points, you must play at least one full round of the swiss stage.)
Day 2 - The top 16 from swiss are invited to take part in day 2 of the Qualifier event. You will play in a single elimination bracket best of 5 with one deck ban. You will need 4 decks from 4 different Parallels. Players will be able to see your full deck lists at this stage. All active participants of a Qualifier will earn League points with the overall winner of the Qualifier will be granted an automatic seat at the next available Major. (To be considered an active participant and earn League points, you must play at least one full round of the swiss stage.)

You can participate in all 7 rounds. You will play in a best of 3 with one deck ban. You will need to win with 2 of your non banned decks to win that respective swiss round.
Day 2 - The top 8 from swiss are invited to take part in day 2 of the Major. You will play in a single elimination bracket best of 5 with one deck ban. You will need 4 decks from 4 different Parallels. Players will be able to see your full deck lists at this stage. The final top 32 participants of a Major will earn League points with the overall winner of the Major being granted an automatic seat at the Prime World Championship.
Once a bracket is seeded on the Echelon tournament app you will be able to see who your opponent is. If this is a swiss bracket, you will only see who your opponent is for that respective round. A round of swiss needs to be completed with all players and matchups before the next swiss round is generated.
All Parallel League tournament communication is done through the official Parallel League Discord. This is the main and only method of communication with admins and players.
Your opponent will be given an auto loss for the round if they fail to show up and communicate after 15 minutes from the point at which you attempted to make contact. If this does happen, please let an admin know in the Discord that your opponent was a no show after the 15 minute mark. It is expected that you made efforts to contact your opponent, and an admin will attempt to do the same before a loss or disqualification is issued.
To keep the tournament moving in a timely manner, we can not make exceptions to the 15 minute rules. No shows to a round after 15 minutes is recorded as an automatic loss. Tournament admins reserve the right to alter this rule as they see fit.
Please inform an admin in the Discord so they can assess the situation and attempt to make contact with your opponent.
Should a game end due to DISCONNECTION once both players have seen the game match screen, then the player who disconnects is given the loss. This means a disconnection occurred during or after the VS scene in game. You should inform a tournament admin immediately if this occurs. If a game ends due to a disconnection BEFORE the game screen is accessed then the match can be replayed. This means a disconnection occurred before the VS scene in game. There is no need to contact an admin in this situation, you can requeue into the match. Repeated disconnection from games will be reviewed by an Admin and may result in disqualification of the disconnecting party.
If you run into a known bug, please let an admin know right away. They will assess the situation and let you know what to do next. If possible, try to capture what the bug was either by screenshot or if you record your games, provide the clip. If you run into a bug that is not already known by the dev team or has not previously been reported, please let an admin know right away so they can look into the game logs. From there, an admin will advise what to do next. A replay of the game may be enforced. If it is found that a known bug was exploited for advantage, a disqualification will be issued.
The Echelon tournament app will not allow you to queue into a game with a deck you’ve already won with or a deck that does not match the deck list submitted before the tournament. If you click a valid deck list that you did not intend to click queuing into a matchup, you will be forced to continue with that selection. If you forfeit the match, it will still be recorded as a loss.
Once you have finished your games for the round and have reported your scores in the Echelon tournament app, you can wait in the Parallel League Discord for your next opponent. Rounds may take more than one hour in some situations. Please be advised that you might wait for a while if you’ve finished your rounds early. However, you are responsible for showing up to the next round in a timely manner. While admins may announce when new rounds are generated, it is your responsibility as the player to stay informed and alert.
